Short but intense

December has been a shorter month for some of us as we went back to our countries but it has been full of emotions.

New volunteers are arriving, the community is growing and it is always nice to have the opportunity of sharing experiences. We spent a “Spanish weekend”, we cooked croquettes and tortilla and ate cheese. I don’t know how is possible that there’s still being Spanish people in Spain, a lot of us are abroad!

Travelling back home is always bittersweet, of course you are looking forward to arrive and meet your family but the last days in Poland some of us were sad and missing the others already. Plus everything was covered by snow and it’s always sad to say goodbye to the snow.

Good news is that soon all of us will be back, we’ll meet new volunteers that are already waiting for us in our flat and we will spend a second Christmas together.
